Think Security First
Think Security First is a national non-profit awareness campaign in partnership with Chambers of Commerce and other business organizations to provide free education and support on cyber security and identity theft issues to small business owners. Visit the web site.
My Security Plan
My Security Plan provides a complete suite of tools and services to help organizations of all sizes educate their customers and their employees about the dangers of cyber crime and identity theft. These tools include complete identity theft education portals, branded and customized for each individual client, and boasting more than a dozen invaluable features to help make customers more aware about identity theft and the things they can do to avoid it. The Center for Information Security Awareness
I co-founded this organization and remain a board advisor. The Center is a partnership with InfraGard (an FBI initiative) to create a national standard in employee security awareness in the workplace. I created the online course, test and certificate program that the center now offers.
The course has already been used by more than 1,200 businesses and other organizations and is free of charge to individuals and small businesses. Visit the web site or check out the course.
Defend the Data
Defend the Data is an initiative I'm in the process of building, and the focus is to encourage more small businesses, independent professionals, and consumers to use encryption more often as a way to protect their most sensitive and personal data.
